OK, I seriously need to buy a URL for this blog, if I’m gonna take it seriously.
In other news, my laptop is seriously mucking up. I’ve put all my important stuff onto an external hardrive and then my dad’s going to wipe my laptop and reset everything, thank god. I won’t download loads of crap after he’s done that and fuck up my laptop ha.
I love this article. Or if you’d like the original, courtesy of the wonderful Sun. Wow, father at 13, seriously what is wrong with these people. I am in absolutely no way conservative, but my sister is 14 and I would hate the thought of her having sex to be frank. She is way too young. Judging by the pictures as well, this 13 year old boy doesn’t look particularly developed or mature for his age. Now there’s a whole line of underage guys claiming to be the child’s father, which without the intent of sounding judgemental, really wouldn’t suprise me if any one of them was. What do these people get up to? Seriously, I swear some people just need to be castrated at birth.

Charles Kennedy
So, just under two weeks ago my college dispatched a group of us all to the wonderful city of Paris for a few days. The trip mainly involved sight-seeing and the usual city shenanigans, however the sole intention of the trip was to attend the ‘Your Future in Europe’ conference. The conference basically consisted of a selection of speakers, around 50/50 political figures and other career choices (notably John Sergeant – give us a dance). The intention of the conference was to educate us about living and working in Europe (I believe), although most of the conference was simply social, political and economic commentary and reflection. Full details of the conference can be found here – http://www.euro-study-tours.co.uk/pages/conferences/Conference.aspx?cid=1&sid=16
The conference, honestly fluctuated in captivating my attention. I found that James Avierdickexploited his own personal agenda of trying to sell the exquisiteness of his ‘Gu’ chocolate puddings, it was untrue. I do not doubt for a second that his chocolate puddings really are made of 60% cocoa whilst Cadbury’s only consists of 10% and I’m sure his story of inspiration is sincere. But I don’t appreciate somebody trying to delude me to believe the whole ‘each chocolate pudding is fondled with love and care – we only care about the customer’ approach, you’re a business, please don’t try and fool everybody.
Tim Hartford, aka: The Undercover Economist was interesting and seemed to garner the highest amount of attention of all the speakers, probably because he was the youngest. His speech was fun and interesting, however the critical thinking training within me made me notice all these flaws of bias and problems with his argument which ruined it for me and by the end of his speech I lost respect.
There were some political speakers, Peter Luff talked about the importance of the European and such. Others such as David Dimbleby were involved with the question time which was entertaining, partly due to the stupidity of some of the questions, however it was interesting to see how each candidate answered and the friendly conflict which always seems to occur during these events. Charles Kennedy was there of course, he made an interesting speech basically reflecting everything that is happening in the world today, however he made a vital argument towards the end of his speech discussing America’s relationship with Europe and particularly Britain. Essentially he described how one of Barack Obama’s first moves was to call up Gordon Brown, building up that initial relationship, he went on to describe how Britain’s with America has led us into trouble before and that we must be weary and hesitant before jumping into things with the US – In a nutshell
Then we got to meet Charles Kennedy, there’s a photo at the top.

Right, so I’ve moved here from Blogspot as BS is ugly and I needed a fresh clean start, a place with more freedom, maturity and most importantly; a better layout system
I’m planning to make at least one post a day, a minimum of five a week. I read that it takes twenty-one days for a new routine to become habit and so I am going to force myself onwards for twenty-one days.
So this is the first post, a starting point as it were. I was going to backdate some entries of my old blog onto here, but then I decided a fresh start would be more appropriate.
